Potatoes for stretchies? Yes please!


Stretch marks aren't sexy!

At all!

Most especially when they become old and dark. People tend to get extremely conscious of them.

I call it Tiger Marks...

Tiger Marks because we all worked for it. Oh yes! we did; be it pregnancy, weight gain, weight loss, rigorous exercise...we worked for it!. LMAO.

I got mine (the new ones ie) from carrying dumbbells please do not ask me who sent me o...I am still upset about it, lol...It's on one arm and the other arm is still fresh..Very painful arrangement...lol!

Except you are undergoing surgical procedures to take them out, I am sorry to say, you can't exactly get rid of them COMPLETELY.

Do not let anyone deceive you into buying some cream meant for stretchmarks! It will not work! Trust me, I've been there, done that and I'm so OVER it!

But then, you can lighten them / fade them out - Gradually and Naturally.

Among other natural products such as shea butter, lemon juice, olive oil, aloe vera, cocoa butter, carrot oil & sugar, Potatoes is one very active ingredient that has lightened stretch marks over a period of time.

Potatoes...Potatoes...Potatoes...

Who would have thought??...

So it happens that Potatoes contain Starch, a product with demulcent properties and nutrients that soothes the skin!

These nutrients promote the restoration and growth of your skin cells.

Procedure

  • Cut a medium potato into a thick slice.



  • Squeeze the juice out (if that doesn't work, use the knife to slice through)


  • Gently rub one of the slices over your stretch marks for several minutes. 



  • Rinse off with lukewarm water after 15-30 minutes of air drying.

Voila!

Continue till you see visible results.

PS - If you eventually try using sweet potatoes instead of Irish, let me know if that works faster!
