#SkinCare: Updated Blacksoap Routine

What's up!!!

How are you guys doing?

Like the title says, I want to show you my updated black soap routine.

In a funny way, I prefer this tweaked version to the previous one I made here. Reason being that - it is more moisturizing and less drying to the skin.

Hallelujah!

I don't want to write so much, just need to show you what I have started doing. The whole idea is to keep changing recipes to get what exactly suits you.

I'd list the items first.

  1. Raw Black Soap
  2. Moringa
  3. Shea Butter
  4. Honey
  5. Essential Oils ( Lavender, Tea tree, Patchouli, Lemon Oil)
  6. Rose Water
  7. Apple Cider Vinegar
  8. Camwood
  9. Lemon
  10. Witch Hazel
I may have not listed all I used but these are the major ones. It's not necessary you do it exactly like this, you can customize it to suit you.

Here's the pictorial Illustration of the new Recipe.

Step 1:
Break the raw black soap up in a large bowl (this helps you mix properly)

Step 2:
Add all powdery items to the mix ( in my case - Turmeric, Camwood and Moringa )

Step 3
Move on to add the liquid items in your ingredients (in my case - rose water, witch hazel, essential oils, honey)

Step 4:
Add in Lemon. You should have a bubbling effect as soon as lemon comes in contact with black soap, don't fret. It's normal.

Step 5:
Add in Shea Butter to the black soap mix (Please use a good amount - remember we are trying to keep the drying effect of blacksoap at bay)

Step 6:
Mix thoroughly and leave it to "cure" or cook for a few days (You'd notice it is actually softer than the first day you mixed it up)

Step 7:
Transfer to smaller bowls or containers.

Knowing my very lazy friends and some family members, they bought all these even before I thought of publishing this post, lol!

With that being said, if you are among those that are also very lazy like them or you are just lost on what to do, please reach out to me, I can fix something up for you. Trust me, at a ridiculous price considering the amount of love and ingredients that went into production.

Anywayyyyyyyy!!!

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did writing it up.

With Love,
Purple Labalaba.
