Orange Peel Powder & Yogurt for that bright and fresh-looking face!!

Yummy looking right??

Funny thing, the ingredients are edible individually.. this mix should be edible too...*pensive*

Let me know how it tastes if you decide to taste it Ok??!...Please don't o!. Thank you.

In my experimentation and research mode, came across this mask. This is the first time I am trying it.You'd be amazed at the awesome things you have in your kitchen that are beneficial to your skin.

With consistency, I believe you'd get the required results using this mask.

Without further ado, let's get straight to work.

Ingredients Needed.

  1. PLAIN yogurt
  2. Orange Peel Powder
  3. Turmeric
  4. Oats
  5. Honey(Optional)

Orange Peel Powder?. I'd have a post on making that soon. It's no Magic! Also, ensure it's plain yogurt you get instead of the flavored ones. The plain yogurt is more effective.

Step 1:
Prepare your workspace, get a clean bowl for the mix.

Step 2:
Start with the yogurt, add a good amount into the bowl ..that you reckon will be sufficient for your face and neck.

Step 3:
Add a spoonful of oats.

Step 4:
Because it stings, add a tiny bit of Orange peel powder.

Step 5:
Turmeric stings as well, add a tiny bit of it.

Step 6:
Mix, Mix, Mix!...(add honey now if you have).

Apply in tiny quantities on your face, building it up gradually. It will look messy!

Step 8:
After several hours, I slept off actually. It will become hard. Rinse off properly.

Turmeric belongs to the ginger family. When you go to your local market, you can ask them for it "ata ile pupa" meaning red ginger. You might get it in the powder form or in its natural state where you'd need to turn it to the powder form yourself (...longggggg process!).

Better still, you can purchase at any supermarket, just ask around. I also found it on Jumai and Konga too.

For those outside Nigeria, your local store should have. I got mine for £2.99 at a local Indian store.

It was a little bit lumpy, I'd suggest you blend the oats into powder form before adding into the mix.

Who's trying this with me this weekend??
