#LabalabaMeets: Oluchi Onuigbo!

My Asanwa.

My Sweet Chocolate.

My Baby Girl.

My One and Only Shy but "not-so-shy" Angel.

That's how she makes me feel, to be honest. Please let me express myself. She's fun to be around, playful, caring and she's a selfie queen!....Face made for the camera, I tell you.

Don't believe me? Check her out on Instagram @OluchiOnuigbo. I doubt I have to point out who she is there, you'd know immediately!

I had the opportunity to hold her down for this brief interview as she is just a butterfly. One minute you see her, the next she's disappeared.

I definitely enjoyed it!

Oh, and by the way, she did this amazing job on Rita Dominic over the weekend!...GELE was by AbekeMakeovers( I shall be visiting her sooooon!...*side eye* Hope you are reading oh, lol!)

Real Name: Oluchi Onuigbo

Studio Contact Details: WOW Nails, Posh Plaza, 31a Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1. (by appointment only) +2348188152903 o.onuigbo@yahoo.com

Favourite Food: Pounded Yam and Afang Soup

Favourite Nigerian Musician: Omawumi

Most Embarrassing Makeup Job Moment: when I did Rita Dominic makeup for the first time for AMAA award 2 yrs ago in Bayelsa, I was so shaky, I had just finished training. My hand was just shaky. I wasn't just myself. It eventually came out nice but it was embarrassing but now we're best friends! :d

Most Memorable Makeup Moment: I am yet to do one. Yet to come.

Most Challenging Makeup Job: Movie Production. It was quite draining! They always get sweaty. We finish really late and we're up again the next morning.

If you were locked in a makeup store for five minutes to pick any item of your choice, what would it be and why? 5 minutes is too much, I'd pick everything!!!... I'd empty the store!

Makeup product you CANNOT do without? : Eyeliner, Zaron Brow Filler, LipGlosses.

Most irrelevant makeup trend: Strobing!!!

Best Makeup trend: Highlights and Contour

One thing no one knows about you: I am very shy when I meet you at first then become annoying noisy...I am also a talkative.

Message for the Old Oluchi Onuigbo: Having Tolerance. Not being judgemental.

Beauty Secret/Tip: Using your moisturiser to clean your skin with a cotton pad...

Advise for Upcoming MUA’s and existing ones: Learn to tolerate people. Have patience. Be willing to learn new trends and practice practice practice!!! And Keep Practicing. You should never stop learning!

More of her work in pictures.

I also raided her makeup purse!

You'd be amazed how makeup artists use little makeup on themselves. Check out the contents of her makeup purse.

In her Makeup Purse, she's got,

  • A Powder Brush
  • Zaron Compact Powder
  • Zaron Brow Definer
  • Zaron Mascara
  • Lipgloss
  • Gel Liner

She trained at Zaron, no wonder most of her personal makeup products are from them. *shrug* I was expecting to see a very largeeeeeeeee makeup purse with all sorts in it. It is literally this simple. Cute too!

If/When you see her outside, pls give her a huge kiss on the cheeks for me and send me a picture by using the hashtag #PurpleLabalaba on Instagram! lol!

Have a great day everyone!
